Clifford M. Sandell Beloved and Most Beautiful Father and Grandfather Clifford M. "Sandy" Sandell, age 88, of Millcreek Twp. died Friday, May 8, 2009, at the Manchester Presbyterian Lodge. He was born in Instanter, PA on October 11, 1920, the son of the late Charles and Ida Sandell. He was a life-long Erie resident. He served in the U.S. Marines during WWII. He was employed at Bucyrus-Erie until his retirement in 1982. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, loving and being with his family. He was preceded in death by his wife, Suzanne Canter Sandell. He is survived by two daughters; Karen Sandell of Wilmington, NC and Linda L. Hammer of Millcreek Twp., three grandsons; Michael, Todd, and Chad Hammer. He was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters, one son, Jack Sandell, and one son-in-law, James F. Hammer. Friends are invited to the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 4 until 8 p.m. Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
