Obituary of Mildred Schuetz

Mildred L. Satterlee Schuetz Mildred L. Schuetz, age 95, of McKean Twp., died Saturday, August 7, 2010 at her residence. She was born in McKean Twp., the daughter of the late, Byron A. and Lillian M. Moore Satterlee. Mildred was the oldest member of McKean Methodist Church and the last living member of the class of '32 from McKean High School. She enjoyed being a homemaker, providing for her family and helping to run the family farm. She was the widow of Vern C. Schuetz and was also preceded in death by one brother, M. Laurence Satterlee, four sisters: Mabel Zimmer, Allene Kuhl, Bessie Obert, Myrtle Satterlee, and one granddaughter, Victoria Bowen. She is survived by one son, Byron D. Schuetz (June), two daughters; Vera Bowen (Robert), Jane Hickey (Lloyd) all of McKean Twp. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Jeffrey Schuetz (Cathy), Scott Schuetz (Phuong), Rebecca Crays (Kurt), Marcia Hilinski (Nicholas), four great-grandchildren: Ashley, Matthew, Isaiah, Caleb, one great-granddaughter on the way, one sister-in-law, Eleanor Schuetz Jones, and a number of nieces and nephews. Private funeral services will be handled at the convenience of the family. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
