Obituary of Audrey Scott

Audrey Scott Audrey Scott, age 75, passed away on June 1, 2012. She was born in Fairview, PA, on October 5, 1937, raised by her parents, Howard Landon and Ida (Ruthenburger), as well as her stepfather, Niels Nielson. She was known for her zest for life and quirky sense of humor. Audrey could be talkative and open with any person she met. In addition to socializing, her other hobbies included cooking, knitting, and traveling throughout the Southeastern United States. Over the course of her life, Audrey also held a variety of interesting jobs, such as; working in a public school cafeteria, Kaufman's Dept. Store, and as a school bus driver for the Millcreek School District. Spending time with friends and relatives, however, was Audrey's best-loved pastime, and gathering with family during Christmas was her particular favorite - a chance to eat, talk, and exchange gifts around the tree. She is survived by her former husband, Dale Scott, Sr. (Carol), her children: Dale Scott, Jr., Darlene Terwilliger (Gary), Laurie Fink (Chuck), her grandchildren: Allison Soltesz (Steven), Cam Terwilliger, Tracy Deeb (Brian), Ashley Scott-Hartmann (Adam), and Brady Carver; as well as one great grandchild, Lucas Deeb. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service there at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Northwestern PA, 2407 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
