Joseph P. Sekula
Joseph P. Sekula, age 67, died April 10, 2008 at the UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, Calif. He was born in McKean on July 26, 1940, the son of the late Julian and Mary Janusz Sekula.
He was a graduate of McKean High School. He also served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era. He worked for 30 years as a bar tender at the Bell Aire Country Club.
Joseph was preceded in death by two sisters, Victoria Koller and Helen Sekula, and three brothers, Lawrence, Arthur, and Henry Sekula. He is survived by one sister, Pauline Lewis, of Hemet, Calif. and three brothers, Stephen Sekula of Newark, Ohio, and William and Michael Sekula of Erie.
Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Road. A committal service will be held Friday, August 1, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in St. Francis Cemetery
