Obituary of Michael Sekula

Michael J. Sekula Michael J. Sekula, age 71, of McKean Twp. died Monday, December 29, 2008 at Presque Isle Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Edinboro on August 1, 1937, the son of the late Julian and Mary Janusz Sekula. He was born and raised in the McKean/Edinboro area and was a graduate of McKean H.S. He was a veteran of the US Army serving between 1960 and 1962. He was employed in the machine shop inspection department at Lord Corp. for fifteen years and then was self employed as a truck driver and farmer. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Victoria Koller and Helen Sekula, four brothers: Joseph, Larry, Art, and Hank Sekula. He is survived by one sister, Pauline Lewis, of Hemet, CA, two brothers, Stephen Sekula, of Newark, OH, and William Sekula, of Millcreek Twp. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., on Friday, January 2, 2009 from 12:00 noon until time of service there at 2:00 p.m. Private interment St. Francis Cemetery.
