Anna Ciko Sharpe
Anna Ciko Sharpe, age 90, formerly of Millcreek Twp., passed away Friday, February 17, 2012, at Fairview Manor after a brief illness. She was born in Jamestown, PA on May 25, 1921, the daughter of the late John and Mary Simko Ciko.
She lived in Albion before moving to Millcreek. She enjoyed gardening and was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, James R. Sharpe, one sister, Pauline Valentine, and three brothers: Steve, Mike, and Nick Ciko.
Anna is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Ann Duino (Michael), of Fairport, NY, two sons; James R. Sharpe of Girard, Mark M. Sharpe, of McKean, two sisters; Mary Elliott, of Pittsburgh, Betty Struchen, of Girard, one brother, John Ciko (Mary), of Pittsburgh, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 6:00 until time of prayer service at 8:00 p.m. Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
