Helen J.Bogacki Helen J. Moryc Bogacki, age 92, of Erie, died suddenly on Thursday, July 23, 2009 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born on April 6, 1917 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of the late Alex and Josephine Moryc. She was an Erie area resident for most of her life. She attended school at Holy Trinity Grade School. During WWII she was employed at Zurn Industries as a welder. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church Rosary Society. She enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, gardening and cooking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. Bogacki, and two brothers, Michael and Bernard Moryc. She is survived by her son, Frank J. Bogacki and his wife, Carolyn of Fairview, two sisters Sophie Sienicki of Erie, and Florence Stachera of Erie, three grandchildren: Brian (Corinne) Bogacki of Edinboro, Sharon (Stephen) Markley of Shelby, NC, and Kevin Bogacki of Charlotte, NC, three great grandchildren: Alex and Nicholas Markley and Corinna Bogacki and nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m. and are invited to Holy Trinity, 2220 Reed St. on Monday at 11:00 a.m. for a Mass of Christian Burial.
