Obituary of Marilyn Sickert

Marilyn F. Rehbock Sickert Marilyn F. Rehbock Sickert, age 81, of Millcreek Twp., died suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, February 24, 2011 at St. Vincent Health Center. She was born on December 31, 1929 in Floral Park, NY, the daughter of the late Edward and Juliet Richert Rehbock. She was employed at the family business first known as Sickert Rubber Co. and later as SIRCO Industrial Supply, Inc. as the CFO. She sang in the Erie Philharmonic Chorus, was a member of the Erie Yacht Club and Eastern Star. She enjoyed music, cultural events, ballroom dancing, sailing, the DeAngelo series, and being together as a family. She is survived by her husband of fifty-eight years, Frederick T. Sickert, Sr., two daughters, Diane Graybill (Eric) of Kreamer, PA, Karen Woods of Delray Beach, Fl, two sons, Willy Sickert (Kim) of Fairview, Frederick Sickert, Jr. (Sandy) of Erie, five grandchildren: Sara Matthews, Zachary Grayhill, Matthew Sickert, Lauren Sickert, Sarah Sickert, one great-grandchild, Lucas Matthews, and one sister, Carol Pfander (Werner) of SC. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to Realife Assembly of God, 3902 W. 38th Street on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. Jim Groves. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Philharmonic, 609 Walnut Street, Erie, PA 16501. Enhance your memorial with a slideshow and video
