Evelyn M. Singleton

Evelyn M. Bloom Singleton, age 76, of Summit Twp., passed away Friday, October 21, 2011 at Millcreek Community Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 4, 1935 in Mahaffey, PA, the daughter of the late, Harry W. and Ann M. Barrett Bloom. She was employed at Lovewell's Market in McKean,

cleaned many homes, and was the custodian at Grace Church for thirty years. She was a member of Grace Church since 1954. Her interest was her family.

She is survived by her husband of 62 years, William P. Singleton, one daughter, Beverly A. Singleton Graves (Kenneth) of Spartansburg, PA, two sons; John W. and Edward D. (Melissa) Singleton all of Erie, two sisters; Harriett "Jean" McCracken (Willard) of Curwensville, PA, Laura Baney (Albert) of Clearfield, PA, one brother, John W. Bloom, of Curwensville, PA, six grandchildren: Peggy Case (Tim), Robin Nicholas (Steve), John W. Singleton, Jr. (Colleen), Kerri A. Singleton, Gregory D. Singleton (Ann), and Candice K. Singleton, twelve great grandchildren, several step and step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, Richard D. Singleton and two sisters, Louise and Clara.

Friends may call at Grace Church, 7300 Grubb Rd on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Al Detter. Interment Watts Cemetery, Clearfield Co. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
