David Anthony Siwiecki, Sr.
David A. Siwiecki, Sr., age 70, of McKean Twp., died Saturday, January 1, 2011 at Abington Crest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Sharon, PA on April 24, 1940, the son of the late, Carol and Mary Bobbie Siwiecki.
He was employed at Lord Corporation as a chemical engineer and later owned Eagle Printing Co. He was a member of the St. Francis Usher Club, served on the St. Francis Board, Kiwanis Club, Crusillio Leader, and CCD teacher. He enjoyed music.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Jane Hess Siwiecki; seven children: Karen Roberts, Michelle Welde, Marsha Louder, Amy Westerman, David, Jr., Daniel, and Matthew Siwiecki; four sisters: Pauline Terence, Julia Bonar, Margaret Granatosky, Dorothy Zajac; three brothers: George, Robert, and Karl Siwiecki; fifteen grandchildren: Danielle McDunn, Brittney, Christopher, and Michael Welde, Rachel, Ryan, and Anthony Louder, Bodi Ross, Connor, Morgan and Carson Westerman, Jacob, Justin, Jesse, and Jayden Siwiecki. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Friedrich.
Friends may call at St. Francis Xavier Church, 8880 W. Main St., McKean, PA, on Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until time of a Mass of Christian Burial there at 11:00 a.m. Interment St. Francis Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
