Pearl J. Wilcox Stancliff Pearl Stancliff, age 96, of Erie, died Sunday, March 8, 2009 at the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center. She was born in Erie on December 23, 1912, the daughter of the late, Lavern and Pearl Wilcox. She was a life-long Erie area resident. She was employed at the Erie Infant's Home and GE. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and enjoyed traveling, reading, crosswords, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her husband, Olin D. Stancliff, one son, Robert Stancliff, three sisters: Hazel Rauscher, Bertha Sack, Vern Horne, and one brother, Melvin Wilcox. Pearl is survived by three children: Donna L. Fortsch of Erie, Olin L. Stancliff (Joanne) of Tucson, AZ, and Timothy J. Stancliff (Sharon) of Erie, eleven grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 12:00 noon until time of service there at 1:00 p.m. Interment Lakeside Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sarah A. Reed Retirement Center - Zurn Pavilion, 227 West 22nd St., Erie, PA 16502 or to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 3108 Sterrettania Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
