Florence M. Zalewski Szkotnicki
Florence M. Szkotnicki, age 89, of Millcreek Twp., passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at St Mary's at Asbury Ridge surrounded by her loving family.
She was employed at Erie Insurance for many years. Her life was fulfilled by spending time and cooking for her precious children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Robert H. Szkotnicki.
She is survived by one daughter, Joyce A. Daniele (Dr. Joseph) of Millcreek Twp., one son, Dr. Robert A. Skotnicki (Jacqueline) of Harrisburg, PA, five grandchildren: Rachel and Ryan Skotnicki, Joe Daniele (Melissa), Jill Painter (Bryan), and Lindsay Kingston (John), two great-grandchildren, one brother, Raymond Leslie of Millcreek, and one sister, Sister Mary Hope of Niagara Falls, NY.
Friends may call at St. Mary's at Asbury Ridge, 4855 West Ridge Rd., Erie, PA 16506 on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass of Christian Burial there at 11:00 a.m. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
