Obituary of Katherine Tauber

Katherine Ross Tauber Katherine "Kay" Ross Tauber, age 85, of Millcreek Twp., Apple Blossom Place, formerly of McKeesport, died unexpectedly at her residence on Friday, March 28, 2008. She was born on March 5, 1923 in Glassport, PA, the daughter of the late, Donald O. Ross and Charlotte A. Totten. She retired from Penn State the Behrend College in 1988 as a telephone receptionist and prior to that she worked as an agent for Met Life for several years. Kay was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Eastern Star, and the Erie Clowns. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, was an avid dog lover, and enjoyed card and game nights with her fellow residents. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Leroy Tauber (March, 1975), one son, William H. Tauber, and one brother, Robert Totten. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Robert T. Tauber and his wife, Cecelia S., of Beverly Hills, FL, Randolph T. Tauber and his wife, Patricia M. of Millcreek, one sister, Joyce Holiday, two brothers, Ralph and William Ross, four grandchildren: Dr. David M. Tauber, Dr. Rebecca T. Sivarajah, Kimberly M. Conover, and Timothy G. Tauber. Friends may call at the DUSCKAS-MARTIN FUNERAL HOME and CREMATORY, INC., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev.
