Obituary of Concetta Testa

Concetta Testa Concetta Testa, age 65, of Millcreek Twp., died Sunday, August 16, 2009. She was born on May 15, 1944 in Bagheria, Sicily, Italy, the daughter of the late, Giuseppe Testa and Concetta Contorno. She has resided in the Erie area for 37 years. She was employed at Russell Upholstery as head seamstress from 1972-1998. She was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church, was a passionate and renowned cook, an avid gardener, and a talented seamstress. She is survived by her husband of eight years, Arsenio (Sam) Vitale, her children: Rosalia Ciminella (Domenico Caramanica) of Rome, Italy, Concetta LoVerso (Nino) of Millcreek Twp., Daniela Ciminella (Nino Spera), of Princeton, NJ, and one son, Joseph F. Ciminella, Jr. of Pittsburgh. Also surviving are three brothers: Pietro Testa of CT, Gioacchino Testa, and Michele Testa, both of Bagheria, Italy, grandchildren: A.J. LoVerso, Alyssa LoVerso, Giuseppe Spera, Danieluccia Spera, Antonio Spera, and Alessandro Spera. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 3 until 7 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. for the funeral service.
