Margaret "Peggy" Abahaze Thayer
Margaret "Peggy" Abahaze Thayer, age 70, of Millcreek Twp., passed away, Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West. She was born in Erie on August 5, 1942, the daughter of the late, Frank and Elaine Stevens Abahaze.
Peggy was a 1960 graduate of McDowell High School. She enjoyed animals.
She is survived by her husband, Terry M. Thayer, Sr., one daughter, Laurie L. Schauer, of Girard, one son, Terry M. Thayer, Jr. (Patricia), of Lake City, five grandchildren, and one great- granddaughter.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Private interment.
Memorial contributions may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 East 10th Street, Erie, PA 16511 or to the Humane Society of Northwestern PA, 2507 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, PA 16506.
