Valerie Branton

Valerie Branton, age 77, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at home in Erie, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Keith Branton, and her daughters: Fiona Branton, Victoria and her husband, Richard Mendelowitz, Andrea and her husband, William Leahy, and sons: Stephen Branton, Michael Branton with Tammy Trump. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Conor, Casey, Quinn, and Sarah Leahy; Jacob, Dylan, and Eli Mendelowitz; Caleb, Cory, and Kirsten Branton, and Paul Coffy.

Valerie was a long time member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was loved by everyone whose lives she touched with her gentle, giving and generous nature. There were many causes close to Valerie's heart.

A Memorial service will be held at Asbury United Methodist Church on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
