Obituary of Vesta Adams

Vesta L. Lynch Adams Vesta L. Lynch Adams, age 75, of Erie, died Saturday, November 21, 2009, at Elmwood Presbyterian Lodge. She was born in Shippensburg, PA, on August 18, 1934, the daughter of the late John and Virgie Lynch. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church and worked as a pre-school teacher at Erie Day Care and St. Martin's Center for Head Start. She also worked in food service for the Millcreek Twp. School District. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Adams, and a close friend, Carl Gustafson. She is survived by three sons: Richard Adams (Jennifer) of Edinboro, Galen Adams (Karen) of Erie, Charles Adams, Jr. (Shawne) of Erie, two brothers; John and Charles Lynch of Shippensburg, five sisters: Martha Kelly of Shippensburg, Grace Shannon of Shippensburg, Clara Johnson of Newville, PA, Blanche Rhone of Shippensburg, and Peggy Baum of Shippensburg, seven grandchildren: James Washok, Kimberly Jones, Jason Dunn, Samuel Adams, Nayna Adams, Nathan Adams, Amanda Adams Wiseman, ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Wednesday at 12:00 noon for the funeral service conducted by the Rev.
