Merna V. Waisley Merna V. Johnson Waisley, age 71, of McKean Twp., died Wednesday, October 14, 2009 at Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Erie on October 14, 1938, the daughter of Virginia M. Miller Johnson Still, of Fairview and the late Paul G. Johnson. She was employed at Prudential Bache, Hoffman Riggers, and Zurn Industries. She belonged to the Salvation Army, McKean Garden Club, Young at Heart Card Club, Maennerchor Club, and the Mercy Center. She enjoyed gardening, playing bridge, traveling, crafts, flower arranging, sewing, cooking, baking, bowling, and reading. Merna was always helping people in time of their needs. She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore "Ted" Waisley in 2008. She is survived by one son, Donald Clemens, of FL, two sisters; Linda L. Still of Millcreek, Mary Taylor of North East, two step-brothers; David and Robert, one granddaughter, Devin, step-grandchildren, step great grandchildren, two step-daughters; Diane Orr (Dave), Barb Guriel, one step-son, Ron Waisley (Patty) of McKean, special niece, Carri Burger of Lake City, aunt of Raymond Taylor, Jr. of Phoenix, and Edward Taylor of Lake City, other nieces, nephews, and good friends; Bernie Teodorski, Bettie and Bill Dubinski, Shirley Furyesz, and her cats; Rose and Iris. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 11:00 a.m. until time of service there at 2:00 p.m. Interment Gate of Heaven.
