Obituary of Robert Wallis

Robert A. Wallis Robert "Bob" A. Wallis, 59, died at his residence on Friday January 4, 2013 from complications due to illness. He was born on August 13, 1953. He has been a member of the Erie community all of his life. He was also a member of Saint Jude's Roman Catholic Church. He was employed for 39 years at B.A.S.F. (Calsicat). Bob was an avid lover of dogs and was one of the biggest Cleveland Browns fans. He also was a huge fan of Notre Dame football and the Boston Celtics. He enjoyed playing in a work softball league and playing sports with his family. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his mother, Geraldine Wallis Button and a sister, Donna. He was married to Lori Gerlach Wallis for 36 years. Bob was the father of David Wallis (Andrea), Kelly Wallis Gaines (Brian), and Lindsey Wallis Munch (Bob); brother of Karen Wallis Locke (Bill) and Kathy Wallis Rindosh (Bob); grandfather to Anthony, Jackson, and Cooper; uncle to Dan, Amy, Adam, Aaron, Emily, Mitch, Adam, Tara, Trista, Derek, Nick, Nathan, and Erin; great uncle to Jacob, Grif, Cami, Chase, Carter, Charlie, Luke, Sydney, and Ainsley. Calling hours will be 4-8 pm Tuesday January 8, 2013, at Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Jason Feigh. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the A.N.N.A.
