Matthew Wesley White
Matthew "Matt" W. White, age 22, of Millcreek Twp., died Tuesday, May 31, 2011 in Brooklyn, NY. He was born in Erie on January 27, 1989, the beloved son of Madeline and Mark Sheely of Edinboro and Sam and Mary White of Kennerdell, PA.
Matt was employed at ARCA Funding in Brooklyn, NY. He was a 2007 graduate of McDowell High School, who loved to read, travel and enjoyed skating, 4-wheeling, snowboarding, music, but he especially loved his family and many friends.
Besides his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Samantha and Lexus White, of Erie, one step-sister, Dana Schmitt, of Pittsburgh, two step-brothers, Garrett Sheely of Edinboro and Damien Danenas of Pittsburgh, and a life-long friend, Scott Lechner.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 2 until 7:00 p.m. Private service and interment.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Skate Park, c/o the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home.
