Alberta G. Wise Alberta "Val" Genevieve Magnetta Wise, age 92, of Millcreek Twp., died Monday, April 19, 2010 at St. Vincent Health Center after a brief illness. She was born in Washington, PA on February 27, 1918, the daughter of the late, Michael and Genevieve Tissi Magnetta. She was a homemaker and was employed at Carlisles for several years before retiring. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cooking, and baking. She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth LeRoy Wise in 1978, her sister, Millie Lackovich, and her twin brother, Lawrence Magnetta. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Charles Straub, three sons: Richard (Jean), James, Robert (Cindy) Wise, six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her dear friends; Donna and Gary Cody and Mrs. Aggie McBeth. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday from 12:00 noon until time of service there at 2:00 p.m. Private interment.
