James M. Wise, Sr.
James M. Wise, Sr., age 56, of Millcreek Twp., formerly of Fairview Twp., died suddenly on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Hamot Medical Center. He was born in Erie on May 13, 1954, the son of the late, Kenneth L. and Alberta G. Magnetta Wise.
He retired from the Girard School District as head of transportation. Jim was a life-long Steelers fan and was a golf enthusiast.
He is survived by Cindy L. Wise, mother of James M. Wise, Jr., one son, James M. Wise, Jr. and his fiancée, Erin Theisen, two brothers, Richard Wise (Jean), Robert Wise (Cindy), and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. and are invited there on Tuesday for the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
