James A. Wolfe, Sr. James A. Wolfe, Sr., age 60, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at UPMC-Hamot after a brief illness surrounded by his family. He was born on June 15, 1951 in Mahaffey, PA, the son of Irene Peace Wolfe, of N. Tonawanda, NY. He was employed at General Electric for 35 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, Sunflower Club, and St. Mary's Athletic Club. He enjoyed the Steelers, bowling, and the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Linda Faye Wolfe, one daughter, Jaime Hayford (Randy), one son, James Wolfe, Jr., four step children: David Chatfield (Staci), Stacy Illig (Jamie), Jason Winkelmann, Tifany Winkelmann, three sisters; Betty Carson of N. Tonawanda, NY, Janet Kowalski of Kenmore, NY, Sandy Borne, of Oneonta, NY, eleven grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers; Vernon, Rodger, an infant brother, two sisters; Linda and Beverly. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday, February 4, 2012 from 2:00 p.m. until time of a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie Regional Cancer Center, 2500 West 12th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
