Obituary of Ethelyn Wolfe

Ethelyn J. Phelps Wolfe Ethelyn J. Phelps Wolfe, age 82, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at her residence after a brief illness with her daughter, Lynda, by her side. She was born in Erie on December 7, 1930, the daughter of the late Gerald and Cecile Zeeryp Phelps. She was a private caregiver to many (elite families) of Erie. She was a member of the Presque Isle Woman's Club and volunteered at political polls. She enjoyed gardening and the arts. She is survived by her children: Mark Grondahl (Lee Ann), of Alachua, Florida, Lynda Grondahl, of Tucson, Arizona, Paul Wolfe (Christine), of Cape Coral, Florida, and Eric Wolfe, of Erie, seven grandchildren: Max Grondahl, Dr. Ryan Kobylinski, Paul, Joshua, Lee, and Cody Wolfe, and Morgan Davis, and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister, Beatrice Shearer, her brother, Jerry Phelps, her companion and friend, Paul Traut, and one grandson, Jason Kobylinski. A graveside and memorial service will be announced at a later date. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
