Donald M. Woodell Donald M. "Don" Woody" Woodell, age 82, of Millcreek Twp., died Friday, July 17, 2009 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born in Erie on February 9, 1927, the son of the late, Jesse and Florence O'Hara Woodell. Don served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a 46 year employee at Hammermill Paper Co. retiring in 1989. He was a 50 year Mason (Tyrian Lodge #362) and the Siebenbuerger Club. He enjoyed fishing, Indians baseball and college football. Don is survived by his wife of 61 years, Betty C. Wagner Woodell, two daughters, Sharon A. Dombrowski and her fiancé, Ashley Allen, of Brockport, NY, Donna L. May (James) of Millcreek Twp., two sons, Glenn K. Woodell and his fiancé, Kathi Smith, of Erie, Scott A. Woodell (Leslie) of Millcreek Twp., one sister, Thelma Gromacki, of Millcreek Twp., nine grandchildren: Deanna L. Thomas, Robert J., Michael J., and Timothy J. Dann, Kristen L. and Kevin J. May, Jesse H., Abby M., and Samuel N. Woodell, five great grandchildren: Candice M. Erhart, Jonathon, Alexander, Logan, and Aubree Dann, nephew, Ken Woodell, and other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers. Friends may attend a Memorial Service on Tuesday at 1:00 p.m. conducted by the Rev. Jack Risner at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Private interment.
