Obituary of Cecelia Yezzi

Cecelia M. Rosenstihl Yezzi Cecelia M. Yezzi, age 91, formerly of Millcreek Township, died peacefully Sunday, January 16, 2011 at The Regency at South Shore. She was a graduate of Villa Maria Academy and employed at St. Vincent Hospital as a Nurses' Aid and the Visiting Nurse Association as a statistician. She enjoyed playing bingo, pinocle and especially gatherings with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Patrick J. Yezzi in 2006 and one sister, Alberta Auer. She is survived by two daughters, Patty Onorato, husband, Ed, of Millcreek, and Carol Stablein, husband, Jack, of Fairview, seven grandchildren: Tony (Kate) Onorato , Chris Stablein, David (Lori) Onorato , Scott (Jimi) Stablein, Tommy (Patty) Onorato , Brian (Shannon) Stablein, Todd (Karie) Stablein, and twenty- one great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday from 2- 5 and 7- 9 p.m. and are invited there on Friday at 9:30 a.m. for prayers followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Peace R.C. Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association of Erie County, 1128 State St., Erie, PA 16501 or to the charity of one's choice. Enhance your memorial with a slideshow and video
