Obituary of Christopher Yonko

Christopher S. Yonko Christopher "Chris" S. Yonko, age 41, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 at UPMC-Hamot after an unexpected illness. He was born in Erie on September 6, 1971, the son of John A. and Mary Ann Koenig Yonko, Sr. of Punta Gorda, FL. He was a 1989 graduate of McDowell High School and previously worked as a welding supervisor at Zeyon Inc. for twenty years, and was currently employed at Builders Hardware. He enjoyed camping, the outdoors, the Philadelphia Eagles, and spending time with his sons. He is survived by his loving companion, Stacie Stablein, his former wife, Sharron, three sons; Ryan, Nickolas, Matt, two sisters; Dianne C. Porter (Steven) of Fairview, Jill M. McIntyre (Tony) of Corry, two brothers; John A. Yonko, Jr. (Karen) of Edinboro, Joseph A. Yonko, of Harborcreek, many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday, January 3 for the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev.
