W. Micque Brown, age 77, died Saturday, June 28, 2008, at his residence after a short illness. He was born May 1, 1931, in Erie, the son of the late James Rosby Brown, Jr. and Dorothy McLeod Brown.
He graduated from East High School, class of 1949, and was employed at Erie General Electric after completing the apprentice course there. He continued his education at Penn State Behrend and completed his Bachelor's degree at Edinboro State College. Micque and his wife, Barb, lived in their motor home for 14 years after retirement, traveling throughout the lower 48 states as well as Alaska, Canada and Mexico. In recent years they were "snowbirds," spending winters in Arizona, where they lived at the Escapees R V Club North Ranch development. An avid photographer, Micque was particularly interested in digital photography and in teaching "Photoshop" software classes.
