Obituary of Adelaide Zglinski

Adelaide R. Zglinski Adelaide "Ad" R. Luden Zglinski, age 88, of Fairview, died Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at UPMC Hamot Medical Center. She was born in Venus, PA on August 1, 1922, the daughter of the late, John F. and Iva R. Goodman Luden. Ad was employed at General Electric and Loblaws in their Deli Department. She was a member of Presque Isle Garden Club and Holy Cross RC Church. She enjoyed gardening and playing cards. Ad is survived by her husband of sixty-three years, Theodore Zglinski, one daughter, Chris Snook (Tom), one son, Craig Zglinski (June), one sister, Alberta Bagnato, one brother, Frank Luden (Skippe), one sister-in-law, Bertha Kurtz, five grandchildren: Aron Snook (Trisha), David Snook, Elizabeth Daoust (Joe), Amber Ballman (Ryan), Craig David Zglinski, Jr. (Laurel), three great-grandchildren: Caleb, Landon, and Nolan Snook, and numerous nieces and nephews. Ad was preceded in death by two brothers, Eugene and Charles Luden and one sister, Agnes Gadley. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday for prayers followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church, 7100 West Ridge Rd. at a time to be announced. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
