Obituary of Beverly Fenn Sitter

Beverly J. Fenn Sitter, age 73, of Millcreek Twp., went to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven on Tuesday, July 2, 2013, surrounded by her loving family at UPMC-Hamot. She was born in New Kensington, PA on October 31, 1940, the daughter of the late, Clinton R. and Grace P. Waldrop Fenn. She attended Nyack College and was also employed there. She was also employed at Hornes', Bliley Electric, and Blair Corp. She was a member of First Alliance Church for many years. She enjoyed helping and caring for many family members and friends. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Norbert A. Sitter, one daughter, Sharon G. Gerlach (Michael), of Millcreek, one son, Steven P. Sitter, of Erie, one brother, Clinton A. Fenn (Shirley), of Erie, two grandsons; Brandon Sitter, Aaron Gerlach, one granddaughter, Shannon Gerlach, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, baby Ross Sitter. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited to First Alliance Church on Monday at 10:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. David Snyder. Interment Erie County Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to First Alliance Church Mission Fund, 2939 Zimmerly Rd., Erie, PA 16506 or in c/o of Norb Sitter, 3303 Hampshire Rd., Erie, PA 16506, for grandson, Brandon Sitter's College Fund.
