Obituary of Larry Arndt

Larry Gene Arndt Larry G. Arndt, age 67, of Summit Twp., passed away on July 10, 2013 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 12, 1946 in Erie, the son of the late, Harry L. and Amy E. Walters Arndt. Larry graduated from Fort LeBoeuf High School and served in the US Army from 1965-1968. He was employed as a laborer at OEM, Inc. as well as Niagara Plastics of Erie. His battle for sobriety has been effective over the last 28 years with the assistance of AA. He was proud of that accomplishment. He loved hunting, fishing, and camping. Survivors include his wife, Ruth Lazzini Arndt, one daughter, Nicola Arndt Szoszorek (Brian) of Edinboro, one son, Craig J.P. Arndt (Kimberly) of Summit Twp., his grandchildren: Jacob and Elizabeth Szoszorek, Brittany, Sauvana, and Dalton Arndt, two brothers; Jack Arndt (Patricia), of Erie, Richard Arndt (Carol) of FL, as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces, great-great nieces and nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Arndt and one daughter, Wymia Marie Arndt. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd, on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of military and funeral service at 4:00 p.m. Private interment.
