Obituary of Frederick Jordan

Frederick Glenn Jordan aka "Gramps" passed away Monday, August 5, 2013 at St. Francis Medical Center in Midlothian, Virginia. He was born November 5, 1952 to Glenn and Dorothy Jordan of Erie, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Dennis, and beloved wife, Cathy, in 2005, as well as his in laws, Art and Maryann Heberlein. Following graduation from Strong Vincent High School in 1971, he proudly joined the Army and served twenty years, retiring as a Master Sergeant. He was President of Larry's Mobile Homes Sales in Tazewell, Virginia, prior to his retirement. Surviving to cherish his memory are his children; Steve Jordan (Kristy), of Midlothian, Virginia, daughter, Kristina Jordan, of Erie, PA, sisters; Gloria Carlson (Ernie), of Fairview, PA, Donna Harris (Don), of Charlotte, NC, and brother, Frank (Denise) Jordan, of Lakeridge, Virginia, as well as several nieces and nephews. His greatest joys in life were his three beautiful grandchildren: Nicholas Jordan (gramps little guy), Katie Jordan (gramps little munchkin), both of Midlothian, and Khloe Snyder (gramps little darling), of Erie. He loved to collect hot sauce and was the life of the party. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. Military interment at Calvary Cemetery on Monday, August 12, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
