Obituary of Janet Millspaw

Janet Bradbury Millspaw, age 82, of Summit Twp., went to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, September 7, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie on August 14, 1931, the daughter of the late James and Ruth Magraw Bradbury. Janet was a 1949 graduate of Academy High School and graduated from Hamot's School of Nursing in 1952. She was a volunteer at the Presbyterian Lodge for over twenty years, was a Girl Scout leader for ten years, was a member of McLane Church; where she volunteered many hours, and currently was a member of Grace Church. She was a wonderful homemaker who enjoyed sewing, canning, freezing vegetables, and crossword puzzles. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William "Bill" R. Millspaw, one son, James A. Millspaw, of Erie, one daughter, Lori A. Gunther (Randy), of Erie, two grandchildren; Samuel Vallimont and Megan Gunther. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 until time of service there at 11:00 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
