Obituary of Versal Anderson

Versal K. Anderson, age 94, formerly of Millcreek Twp. died Wednesday, September 11, 2013 at St. Paul's Homes in Greenville, PA. She was born in Erie on April 4, 1919, the daughter of the late George and Gertrude Sellers Kiehlmeier. She was preceded in death by her husband, Martin Anderson, in 1994 and her sister, Angeline Symmonds. Mrs. Anderson retired from the office of In Woo Lee, M.D. and previously worked at the office of Robert B. Callahan, M.D., and Sears. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Faith Circle. She was also a member of the Millcreek Good Timers, the Sears Retirees, and the Continental Retirees 61 Club. She is survived by two daughters, Valery Smith of Hermitage, PA and Marilyn Anderson of Pittsburgh, PA, two grandchildren; Jennifer Stephenson (Joseph) of Hermitage, PA and Aaron Smith of Charlotte, NC, two great-granddaughters; Alexis and Ashleigh, and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 4 until 7 p.m. and are invited there on Monday for the funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
