Julia A. Reese, age 91, of West Lake Woods, Millcreek Twp., died on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness. She was born on November 14, 1921 in Cassadaga, NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Sarah Sweet Lewis. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Presque Isle Snowmobile Club. She enjoyed crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Reese, one son, Carl Leamer, and a daughter-in-law, Beverly Leamer. She is survived by one son, Howard Leamer (Barbara) of Millcreek Twp., one daughter, Lois Nickerson of Palmetto, FL, twelve grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and four step grandchildren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Private interment Erie County Memorial Gardens.
