Obituary of Warner Williamson

Warner "Lanny" L. Williamson, age 55, of Millcreek Twp., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at his residence after a brief illness. He was surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 30, 1957 in Steubenville, OH, the son of James Williamson and the late Donna Ford Williamson. He was raised by the late Dean and Jean Coil. Lanny served in the US Army and was employed at Plastek Ind. in the CPD Division. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan and NASCAR; especially a fan of Dale, Jr. He enjoyed spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and great-grandson. He is survived by his loving wife, Joan L. Fitzgerald Williamson, three daughters: Alison O'Neil (Shawn) of North Benton, OH, Jennifer Hughes of Alliance, OH, Megan Hanford of Bellville, OH, one son, Justin L. Williamson of IN, ten grandchildren, one great-grandson, two brothers; John L. Williamson (Laura) of Fairview, TN, Steve Coil of Wellsville, OH, mother-in-law, Margaret Fitzgerald of Millcreek, many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one infant son, Sean Williamson, three brothers: Bernie and Terry Coil, Jimmy Lee Williamson, and father-in-law, Harry Fitzgerald. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 until time of service there at 8:00 p.m. Private interment Laurel Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
