Obituary of Robert Farren

Robert "Bob" A. Farren, age 56, of Millcreek Twp., passed away at his residence on January 4, 2014 after a brief illness. He was born in Emporium, PA on May 11, 1957, the son of the late, John and Bebe Joy Haines. He was a graduate of McDowell H.S. and received his Bachelor's Degree from Gannon University in Respiratory Therapy. Bob was employed at Cleveland Euclid Hospital. He attended St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Lawrence Park. Bob enjoyed playing football, basketball, golf, and spending time with his family. He is survived by one brother, John C. Farren, of Erie, one sister, Betsy Joy Haines, of Millcreek, two nieces; Jeanne Joy Farren, of Erie, Debbie Haines, of Detroit, MI, three great-nieces: Molly, Carly, and Jaidyn Joy all of Erie, and three great-nephews: Damon, Matthew, and Timothy all of Erie. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bebe Joy Haines and one son, Adam R. Farren. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 4 p.m. until time of service there at 7:00 p.m. Private interment Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
