Matthew Philip Kerner born November 13, 1983, passed away unexpectedly January 11, 2014. He has traded his sorrows and is now in the arms of his faithful Savior. Matthew was known as a strong leader, a talented and gifted musician, and a fearless individual. He made an impact on all who knew him with his honesty and love. He is survived by his father and stepmother, Philip and Heidi Kerner, his mother and stepfather, Traci and Stephen Adiska, three brothers: Robert, Nicholas, and Jordan, and their little brother, David Adiska. We love you Matthew and know that you are having the time of your life… Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. Rick Croker and the Rev. John Bowers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Erie City Mission, 1023 French Street, Erie, PA 16501 or to the Salvation Army, 1022 Liberty Street, Erie, PA 16502.
