Obituary of Jacqueline Herbstritt

Jacqueline Jean Ehret Herbstritt passed away in her sleep at her residence on Tuesday, February 11, 2014. Jackie was born in Erie on August 27, 1936, the daughter of the late, Wilbur Ehret and Agnes Rutkowski and Casimir Rutkowski (stepfather). She worked for Halle Brothers and was a homemaker. She enjoyed reading, traveling to Florida, and spending time with her family. Survivors include her loving husband, David R. Herbstritt, sons; David M. of Erie and Keith E. Herbstritt of Millcreek Twp., daughters; Suzanne M. Herbstritt of Erie and Kimberly J. Herbstritt of Longwood, Florida, five grandchildren: Jamie Lynn Herbstritt, Jeffrey and Jacob Bauer, Laura and Phillip Herbstritt, two great-grandchildren: Karter Bauer, Ava Lynn Herbstritt, and one brother, Ronald Rutkowski of Florida. She was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Rutkowski. Private funeral arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National MS Society, Western PA Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale St., Suite 105, Pittsburgh, PA 15233.
