Ronald Russell Buchmeyer
Ronald R. Buchmeyer, age 96, of Millcreek Twp. died Sunday, April 12, 2009, at Hamot Medical Center. He was the son of the late John L. and Ida May Russell Buchmeyer.
He was a retired superintendent at Hammermill Paper Company. He was active in the Lion's Club, serving as president in Florida. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, and golfing.
He is survived by his wife, Rita Buchmeyer, one son, Ronald Joseph Buchmeyer (Dee) of Millcreek Twp., three grandchildren: Ronald John Buchmeyer of Port St. Lucie, FL, Steven Michael Buchmeyer of Port St. Lucie, FL, and Michelle Buchmeyer of Savannah, GA, five great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Anita Ida Temple Buchmeyer.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. is in charge of arrangements.
