Obituary of June Albert

June E. Albert found her final peace on February 24, 2014 in San Antonio, TX at the age of 91. She was born in Erie, PA on August 22, 1922 to the late John and Elsie Lind. She lived in San Antonio since 2002. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Albert.
June is survived by three daughters: Gayle Ketzel of Edmonds, WA, Susan Naylor of Boerne, TX, and Barbara Ketzel of Redmond, WA. She is also survived by her brother, Donald Lind of Tigard, OR and her sister, Louise Gunther of Erie, PA.
She was the proud grandmother of seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and three great- great-grandchildren. June Albert became a registered nurse in the 1940's and practiced nursing at Hamot Hospital in Erie. She later became the director of the Lutheran Home and also developed the Utilization Review Program at Hamot Hospital during her career. After retirement, she and Paul had a successful business creating and selling ceramics and woodworking.
Friends may pay their respects on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. between 12:00 noon and 1 p.m. at which time there will be a Memorial Service immediately followed by a graveside ceremony at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
