Obituary of Jean Kuebel

Jean L. Pflueger Kuebel, age 85, of Erie, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2014 at Manchester Commons. She was born in Erie on January 12, 1929, the daughter of the late William and Ethel Hewitt Pflueger. Jean was employed at Rowe Middle School in Conneaut, OH, Millcreek High School, Durico Paper Co., and the Erie Historical Museum. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and enjoyed knitting, needlepoint, flower arranging and was a Sea Wolves fan.
Jean is survived by her children; Melanie Kuebel of Erie, Roger Kuebel (Candy) of Wenham, MA, Norman "Kip" Kuebel (Karen) of Greenville, SC, two grandchildren; Heather and Julia Kuebel.
Friends may attend a Memorial Service at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1002 Powell Ave., Erie, PA 16505 on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. conducted by the Rev. Kimberly Hirsch. Private interment.
Memorial contributions may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church, or to Manchester Commons, 6351 West Lake Rd., Erie, PA 16505. Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
