Barbara L. Pennington Perkins, age 76, of Fairview Twp., formerly of Torrance, CA, passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at her daughter's residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 9, 1937 in Tacoma, WA, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Emma C. Fox Pennington.
Barbara became a Headstart teacher of early childhood education after obtaining her Master's Degree.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Perkin, and one brother, Ned Pennington.
She is survived by two daughters; Cynthia Randall (Tony) of Torrance, CA, Victoria M. Musolff (Thomas) of Fairview Twp., four grandchildren: Sara Delval of Girard, David Bowers of Fairview, Bryan and Kimberly Randall of Torrance, CA, and five great-grandchildren.
Private arrangements are being handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
