Lois J. Reichel, age 82, of Union City, formerly of Erie, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 1, 2014
surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Erie on July 18, 1931, the daughter of the late, Harold and Lorinda E. Erickson Burkett. Lois was a graduate of Academy H.S. and was employed as an office manager at Erie Trucking Co., was secretary for Dan Chism Interior, and retired from Spectrum Control. She was a member of the Business Women's Association and Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church. She loved flowers, bingo, and casinos.
She is survived by two sons; Ed Reichel of Erie, Kevin Reichel (Tammy) of Canadota Lake, one brother, David Burkett (Norene) of Warren, PA, three sisters: Margie Baldwin, Dolores Schwabenbauer, and Joyce Young, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care
of the funeral home.
Arrangements were handled by the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd.
