Obituary of Shirley LaRiccia

Shirley Ann LaRiccia, age 77, of Erie passed away Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Erie on May 7, 1937, the daughter of the late Russell and Wanda Alessi.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends; especially her grandchildren, liked playing bingo, and tending to her many flower gardens. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph P. LaRiccia, her sister, Nettie Krawicz. She is survived by her son, Joseph A. LaRiccia (April) of Erie, five grandchildren: Johnathan and Michael Fucci, Jordan, Shane, and Angel LaRiccia, one sister, Audrey Alessi of Cleveland and one brother, Frank Alessi. Also survived by her friend Cordie and her best buddy dog, Jake.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a funeral service there on Monday at 10:00 a.m. conducted by Msgr. Daniel Magraw, Pastor, Blessed Sacrament R.C. Church. Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
