Obituary of Sheila Horne

Sheila D. Wright Horne, age 66, of Erie, PA., passed away peacefully Sunday, August 10, 2014 at her residence. She was born in Warren, PA on September 14, 1947, the daughter of the late Wallace and Betty Wright. Sheila was employed with Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania for 30 years, prior to her retirement. She enjoyed crafting, cooking, traveling, and camping. Sheila especially treasured her time spent with Tom and their family. Survivors include her husband of 28 years, Thomas H. Horne; one step daughter, Donna (Ron) Gray; one sister LuAnn Saeli; one brother, Barry (Margaret) Wright; two grandchildren, Kim (Nathan) and Joshua; one nephew, Dan Saeli, a grandniece and her closest childhood friend, Mary Pat Lucia. No calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Sheila, may be designated to Best Friends.org in Kanab, UT. The Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. Erie, PA., is handling funeral arrangements.
