Obituary of Josephine Moulthrop

Josephine "Joy" M. Lynch Moulthrop, age 72, of McKean Twp., passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Millcreek Manor. She was born in Meadville, PA on January 25, 1942 the daughter of the late Howard K. and Elizabeth Knapp Lynch. Joy was a graduate of Conneaut Valley H.S. and obtained her LPN degree. She was employed at several nursing homes; most recently at the Soldier's and Sailor's Home until her retirement in 2004 after 15 years. She enjoyed traveling and spending time with her grandkids.
Joy was preceded in death by her husband, John F. Moulthrop.
She is survived by two sons; Paul J. Moulthrop of Davenport, FL, Michael J. Moulthrop (Brandi) of Erie, five grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and one sister, Mrs. Gerald Lynch Clingerman of Gastonia, NC.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Friday at 11:00 a.m. for the funeral service conducted by the Rev. Shane Thompson. Interment St. Peter's Cemetery in Conneautville. Memorial contributions can be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
