Obituary of Richard Ebinger

Richard G. "Dick" Ebinger, age 79, of Millcreek Twp., passed away Monday, November 10, 2014 at Saint Vincent Hospital. He was born in Cranberry Twp., Oil City, PA on November 16, 1934, the son of the late Chauncey and Wilda George Ebinger. Dick was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Air Force and was in the Strategic Air Command as a radioman. He graduated from Grove City College in 1961. Dick was employed with Liberty Mutual Insurance Co. for over 30 years, before retiring from there as a Sr. Loss Prevention Engineer. He enjoyed doing carpentry and mechanical work around his home. Preceded in death by two brothers: Edward Ebinger and his wife Rita and Jack Ebinger and his wife, June. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Nancy Edwards Ebinger; one son, Craig Ebinger (Doris); one daughter, Sandra Olsen (Terry); one sister-in-law, Marjorie Hrouda (B. James); two granddaughters, Madeline Ebinger and Lily Olsen; step grandchildren, Chloe, Emma and Lucas Olsen and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home & Crematory, 4216 Sterrettania Road on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral service will be private with interment at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
