Obituary of Audrey Savelli

Audrey Viola Miller Savelli passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Sunrise Senior Living after a brief illness. Audrey was born on May 8, 1931 in Erie, the daughter of the late Paul and Thelma Aspegren Miller and stepdaughter of Frank Thomas. She married Vincent Savelli on Sept. 4, 1950. She attended Northwest University, Villa Maria College, and Edinboro University. Audrey taught in various elementary schools in the Erie School District for twenty five years. She is survived by her husband Vincent, her daughter Laura (Caryn), her son Vincent (Debra), and her son Tony (Maria). She is further survived by five grandchildren: Vincent (Angela), Andrea, Brittany, Brendan, and Eric and two great-grandchildren; Enzo and Genevieve. Her family was the most important part of her life. Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and are invited there on Saturday at 10:15 a.m. for prayers followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. at St. George R.C. Church, 5145 Peach Street, Erie. Entombment Calvary Mauseleum. Audrey's family wishes to thank the staff of Sunrise Senior Living for their love and care throughout Audrey's last several years.
