Obituary of Eleanor Barney

Eleanor A. Lee Barney, age 85, of Millcreek Twp., went to be with her Lord on Thursday, December 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1929 in Erie the daughter of the late George and Anna Evans Lee. Eleanor was a volunteer with the VNA Hospice and enjoyed crafts, sewing, but above all, she loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel O. Barney and three infant grandchildren.
She is survived by two sisters; Barbara Loringer of Fairview, Joann Bryson of Charlotte, NC, one brother Robert Lee (Barbara) of Jacksonville, FL, three daughters: Cynthia Sieg of NM, Deborah Barney of Waterford, Daneen Graziano (Robert) of Millcreek, one son, Architect, James J Barney of Southern CA, three grandchildren: Tessa Cobert (William) of Erie, Trisha Smith (Paul) of Erie, George "G.J." Sieg of NM, four great-grandchildren who brightened all her days: Cameo, Arianna, Connor, Carson, and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Dusckas-Martin Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 4216 Sterrettania Rd. on Sunday from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. and are invited there on Monday at 11:00 a.m. for the Funeral Service. Interment Laurel Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
